Popcorn Time

Popcorn sales have begun! 

Each scout will earn 33% of their popcorn sales for their scout account. This money can be applied toward camping, dues, registration, or Summer Camp. Summer Camp can range from $250 to $300. To fully pay for Summer Camp a scout would need to have about $900 in popcorn sales.

Important Dates

Sales Begin: Sept 6th
Orders Due: Oct 16
Distribution: Nov 9th
Money Due: Nov 20th

Each scout has an online account to aid them in their popcorn sales. It is through this site that scouts will submit their door to door orders. Ms Trudy handed out their log in info at the last troop meeting, but if you need it again don't hesitate to ask.

Salesmanship Merit Badge

If any Scout would like to earn the salesmanship merit badge now is the time. Please see Ms Trudy for directions and tips on how to make this merit badge go smoothly.

PLC Update

At the August PLC the scouts were busy planning out events for the upcoming quarter.

  • The committee is planning a Court of Honor for August 21st at 6pm
    • Please bring some kind of beverage to share and have with cake.
    • All blue cards must be turned in by Wednesday the 14th to be ready for this COH.
  • Here is a list of the merit badges that will be worked on in the next few months. Be sure to do as much of the work at home that you can. You can get Merit Badge Worksheets here!
